Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1:
Our English-speaking tour guide and private vehicle will pick you up at your hotel at 9:30 in the morning.
-2 hours driving to an ancient village located near the Great Wall. Short tour in this ancient village and then hike on the mountain paths to the nearby Great Wall called “Zhuangdaokou” where we will take a short break and have some snacks to eat. Later on, continue to hike along this wild wall and nearby mountains for 2 hours or so.
Hiking will be terminated at Park called “little west lake” by 3:00 pm. We will camp in this park. The camping site is sitting in a 400-year-old Ming Chestnut Garden and which is sitting next to the Great Wall. Based on the history, many chestnut trees were planted by the soldiers in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), hence the name “Great Ming Chestnut Garden”.
Camp dinner will be offered at 7 or 7:30 pm on the lake beach. If you prefer, self-service barbecue is available too.
*Please note that if the group size is more than 10, a campfire will be offered.
