Day 1: Yellow Flower Great Wall
Hiking Time: 3 hours

This tour program is perfect to your leisure tour in Beijing. You’ll have chance to feel more like being local in Beijing, not a tourist. We will visit a beautiful un-restored part of the Wall known as Yellow Flower. After a 1.5 hours drive to the Great wall, you will be able to climb up this non modern Great Wall section. You’re getting start from the backyard of a farmer. In a nutshell, this hike with spectacular views consists of walking up the highest tower, then descending to a small village where we will be picked up by a bus. The hike takes 2 hours and will be followed by a relaxing authentic country meal with cold beer in the local farmer restaurant. The Yellow Flower Great Wall is also famous as the Water Great Wall, the wall going into the water. Because the mountain there is cut by a lake, the Great Wall along the mountain is going down inside the water. Nobody could tell if there’s the real water in the water, but it looks it is outside. In the afternoon, we’re checking the Water Great Wall on our own. Getting into the sightseeing area and be really close to the Great Wall, you’ll judge the wall on your sight. Before dinner time, we’ll check in Jiuhua Hot Spring Villa. You’ll enjoy your relaxing overnight here. A good soak in one of Beijing’s many hot springs is an excellent way to escape the hard-charging pace of modern urban life. The Jiuhua Spa is rich in microelement. The water of the hot spring is clear and limpid. Its quality reaches the national standard of table-water. The unstable microelement in the water will form something of pellicle on the skin. It has a good effect on curing skin disease, pigment deposition, The Jiuhua Hot Spring comes from 1230 meters underground, and the temperature of the hot-spring keeps around 40℃. Day 2: Jiuhua Villa & Farmer Courtyard
Free morning in Jiuhua Villa makes you totally fresh in body and mind. Our guide and drive will pick you up before lunch time. Then we’ll drive you to the farmer’s courtyard for an unforgettable lunch. The courtyard is more like a small family farm in the local village. The farmers plant all kinds of goods in the courtyard, many beautiful flowers as well. If the day is nice, you can sit the table outside in the courtyard and enjoy the nice view of the village home. And the dishes you’re trying here are rather hard to find in the city. Braised fish in the big pot, fried tree leaves with special condiments, etc. Many materials of the dishes are from the courtyard its own. After lunch, you’ll have some free time at the courtyard. Then we’ll get back to the city downtown.
